The creation of a
Tibetan Sand Mandala
This ancient Tibetan art form is still practiced in many monasteries across the Tibetan Buddhist world. Ven. Losang Samten master sand painter, created this "Wheel of Life," one of the most important mandalas in Tibetan Buddhism, single handed in three days - September 6 - 9, 2006. The venue was the Marin Civic Center, California.
